The rest of the group, who choose not to hike the mountain, will have the option to relax, enjoy a late breakfast, and unwind, or they can choose to do the Criação Velha Trail,, until the return of the hikers.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you please. You can visit one of the many natural pools or simply relax, as we’re right in the middle of this incredible adventure in the Azores Triangle. If you’d like to explore more of what the island has to offer, feel free to ask our Trip Leader for recommendations on activities.

After the hike, it's time to head to the Capelinhos Volcano. A remote, unique place of incredibly rare beauty. We'll also have the chance to visit the Capelinhos Interpretation Centre and climb to the top of the lighthouse, for some stunning views over the entire magnificent area.

After the visit to this "lunar" landscape, it's time to head to another highlight of the island: the Horta Marina.. Take a stroll around the marina and admire the quirky paintings left on the walls by sailors from all over the world. Day 9 | Faial Island

No activities are planned for today. At a time to be arranged, the transport will be at the accommodation to take you to the airport.

Note - .With the inherent unpredictability of the Azores islands, it's likely that there will be changes to the itinerary.
